Put it in
Whoever said print is dying doesn’t read. Or maybe they do on their phone. A while back I wrote an article for Hyperallergic, the digital art magazine, about the perils of mid-century modernism and its aesthetics in this day in age. Using a modular format on InDesign, I imagined what the article might look like in print.
Concept
While the article challenges mid-century modernism, the art direction is inspired by its aesthetics. I’m talking wide horizontal stresses, sans serif headers, and bauhausesque geometric forms. This spread emphasizes minimal sprawl and lots of space much in the same way you’d expect in a mid-century modern interior.
